Her case is highly controversial. There were allegations she was highly coached by her amateur painter father, who perpetrated a big con game on the art world. There was even a documentary made about it. I'm not sure what the upshot was, but the case is interesting in that it provides an object lesson for all the dangers of child prodigy.
